Last Week of Sovaldi and Olysio ( 24 weeks)

It has been a long haul! I have to say it was very bearable. Some anxiety and some down days. I have been UND for for last 6 tests. Liver enzymes all normal. CBC looks good also. Did last HCV today. Next on will be SVR 4 after treatment is over. Its funny I waited so long for these meds and many of you are already on better ones. Go figure! Wishing you all the best! I have really enjoyed the forum! Thanks!

Congrats Doluska! Lucinda, thanks for the kind words! I remember that you were very reassuring when I went from undetected for three periods and then had <15.
You said it had happened to you. I guess we all love to hear that we are not the only one that things happen to. I still feel that it was a lab test abberation( I hope). I have to say that the moderators keep this forum in great shape and it is valuable to all of us. I will keep you all updated and hoping for a happy ending for all of us!

I did not do any post treatment tests. Just EOT which is undetected. Why no post tests? Just wanted to hang with the UD and go for all the marbles. It thickens the anticipation for sure! Will post results. Draw is 2 wks from today.    Brad

Thank you all! This site was a good support during the treatment! And I am going to post my 4 and 12 weeks post treatment results. Hope it will be positive. We all so desperately looking for good results: it gives us hope that we will be cured too.

Larry, Awesome assignments. I spent 3 years in Minot. Not a great place to be in the military. Great food , did you get involved in any martial arts while there?
I was in the Judo club and learned a little Karate as well.

Took my last pill Saturday morning. I still look for my pills after breakfast. It is  hard to forget after taking them for 6 months every day and I never missed a dose. Looking forward to SVR 12 and 24!

YOU DID IT!!!!! Hooray, you finally finished! I can only imagine how you are feeling and what you have to go through now; honestly I think this is the most stressful time for all of us. You've done all you can do, you've done everything right and you followed the TX to a tee for 6 whole months. That stupid Beast better stay gone!!

I am sure I will be a basket case when I get to that day and have the wait start (hearing the jaws music in my head). I will probably end up on anti anxiety medication! Just kidding!

I am crossing all body parts in the hopes that you stay Undetected and get to the Magic SVR. It's your turn and you deserve it! There should be a whole section for just waiting for SVR because it's going to be a really big topic soon with everyone in treatment!

I am going to want to know what things everyone did to make it through :)

Anyway I just keep reminding myself that worst case there are more options out there, my liver is getting a major break and some day very soon the Beast will be dead never to rise again!

You've got this and Sunrise does too, it's going to be all SVR!!

Larry,

That's kind of up in the air depending on how big of a fight we get into with the Insurance Company for my last 8 weeks. I honestly haven't calculated it.

Saturday 1/31/15 I start bottle 3 of Harvoni which means I have 16 weeks left as of 1/31/15 if they extend my approval which expires on 3/3/15. Otherwise I have 8 weeks left as of 1/31/15.

Let's not forget the 8 weeks of Sovaldi and Olysio that I took before I started the Harvoni.. it's all way too much so I am just going for the ride :) I do not think Express Scripts will deny the last 8 weeks, my doctor will sit on the phone and fight with them again and I also have the magic email address guy courtesy of Lynn K, he's supposed to call me next month after I get bottle 4. He didn't want to mess up my approval by pushing it until it was needed.

Great visit with my IDhero today, what a special doctor I have. Anyway he sent me next door to Lab Corp for blood work due to the swelling in my hands, no where else right now but stiff swelled fingers.  So I should have some updated results early next week and get to see another test that says Undetected! He did a Quant, CBC, Thyroid, Ammonia Level (mine went a little crazy for a bit) and something else. I also got my last Hep A/B immunization. I got back in four weeks for the next visit.

Might as well use up all my deductible and get it over with! Last blood work was done just shy of 9 weeks.

Hi all! It is 2 weeks since I finished my 12 weeks of S/O + RIBA. It is so strange: I am feeling  now worst than I was lately. It looks like withdrawal, some flu symptoms, fatigue, blood pressure is up. Did somebody experience the same? I am so spooked by this! D
