Beginning 6th week of Harvoni
« on: September 29, 2015, 03:31:02 pm »
Hello all... just a brief update: I am beginning my 6th week on Harvoni. In my 5th week I had a blood draw and my viral load went from 233000 to less than 15! My G.I. is very pleased as am I...It sure feels like a miracle to me! I am scheduled to complete the full 12 week course and am praying that the trend continues.

As soon as I finish I will be going in for a major revision sugery on my second left hip replacement...I am so looking forward to getting this all behind me and I so apprecate all of the support I have found in this forum! Thank you all!!

P
by deductive reasoning I contracted the virus in either 1978,1980.or 1988 via major blood transfusions. Diagnosed 2004. 7-6-2015 hcv rna quant, pcr 266536,genotype 1, ast 112, alt 213 Began Harvoni 8-18-2015. treatment naive. I have only had ultrasounds of my liver which show a"normal" liver(?)
