I'm starting this thread as a place for members to post treatment results and individual HCV profiles. These can be updated by simply using the modify/edit function in each member's individual posts.
The purpose of this thread is to give members some insight on how others are doing, how they are progressing and so on.
This way, we have all the information in 1 area, so we don't have to cull through all the posts to find it.

Genotype 1a with fibrosis level of 1 by biopsy
Started Viekira Pak with Ribavirin for 12 weeks on February 17th 2015

Using the modify/edit makes sense. Then we can continue to update these individually with out adding over and over. I think I got it Mike!

For some reason I can't modify my post in this thread. I've even read the help topics! Can anyone give me an idiot's guide to modifying it?
-
That's a great question, Philadelphia. I'm noticing that on the upper right corner where there are usually 2 buttons--quote and edit, the edit button is missing.
I just went over to the side effects thread because I've been participating there today and the edit button is there in my post's upper right corner...
Hmmm..
-
It's a mystery. I have no modify button. Not that *I* want modifying ... but my thread does!

Philadelphia
Look in the lower right of your post it looks like a piece or paper with a pencil
-
Not there Lynn, nothing in bottom corner
-
maybe because I am a moderator.
Do you see "report to moderator" and next to that a bunch of numbers your ip address?
I see it right above that
Pete did an edit on his post
-
I see it in my most recent post but it's not in the older one. perhaps the capacity for editing is linked to a time limit? Can't edit after a few days? Don't know but there's no sign of the missing function on my old post, only my new one. I can see everything else you mention.

Philadelphia, Lynn, Mike...this is strange...This morning, on my post from last nite, I now DO see the "modify" button next to the quote button in the right upper corner of my post....the modify was not there last nite...
Is there a nighttime cyber bot playing trix on us?
;-)
-
Larry - can't post without being signed in. Lol
MEG - you clearly have MY edit button ... Any time you want to return it will be fine. Lol
I was going to delete that post and start again but I can't even do that!
-
Philadelphia..I payed off the cyber-bots while you were sleeping... 8) 8)
MEG - you clearly have MY edit button ... Any time you want to return it will be fine. Lol
-
Yes deleting of posts is not allowed the idea is think before you speak (or type) to avoid foot in mouth disease!
-
OK now my modify button is missing.
I already did this once so I know it is possible.

IT'S NOT JUST ME!!!!!
-
Helens progress thus far has been a bit of up and downs here lately!!!! 3 weeks to go on 24 week Harvoni program.
At least she is back to showing Undetected,,,,whew
-
He-he-hei!!!
Just went to the online portal of my doc/hospital and they just posted the results -
HCV RNA Not Detected!!! - Yahoooo!!!
Prior to that:
Jan 2010 VL - 2.7 mil
Jan 2015 VL - 0.5 mil
AST - 23 (Prior: mid-treatment: 21, Before treatment: 49, one before that: 33)
ALT - 35 (Prior: mid-treatment: 26, Before treatment: 100, one before that: 65)
So, now I officially transfer to the waiting team - till mid-July.
Thank you all for being absolutely fantastic - and wholeheartedly wishing everybody still not done to follow me to the waiting team and then in 3 month on to join all the others already on the SVR team!!!
-
Congratulations Tiger
Keep us posted on your SVR.

Did not notice this thread when i posted on Monday so Ill chime in here as well
On 12 treatment course, start of Tx Vl .6 mil, at 7 weeks VL <15 Undetected !
My next labs are at EOT end of may and then 12 wk and 1 year.
Im wishing everyone here success and a easy course of tx, Ive been very lucky experiencing minimum side effects.
-
Just got my 8 weeks labs. The nurse added a message to my patient portal that stated, "Congratulations! Your lab test indicates a negative viral load".
8 week labs - ALT 10 / AST 21
HCV RNA Quantitative (PCR) <12 IU/mL ( - <=12)
HCV Log 10(PCR) <1.08 LogIU/mL ( - <=1.08)
Not sure exactly what that means. I don't think it's the same as undetected, but maybe?? I think it means the test can only measure down to 12 IU/ml, and it's below that level. In any event, the results are heading in the right direction. I've got 25 days left and remain optimistic.

I just received my 4 week EOT Labs: UNDETECTED!
See my sig for more.
Thank you all for being here. Your help in my staying the course was essential.
I realize I have 8 more weeks of waiting but knowing I'm undetected for now, 4 weeks after finishing therapy, is the best therapy I can ask for right now...

Finished 12 week treatment today - 84 pills down the hatch!
Overall it was an easy course for me, some nausea, light headaches and occasional weakness / tired but drinking plenty of water and a little Ibuprofen di it for me. No missed days at work or with family during the course.
6 week and 10 week labs <15 undetected. I go in for EOT doctors appointment next week and will have VL and AST/ALT drawn and then 12 weeks post.
Ill post my EOT results and 12 week as they happen.
Best of luck to all of you still in treatment and thank you to everyone on the forum for the support and great advice, this group really helped me not feel alone and answered a lot of my questions that would have led to anxiety, THANKS!
