Week one is over and it wasn't too bad. Waayyyy easier than peg interferon, so far, knock on wood.
Slept well every night.
My only complaint is a feeling of anxiousness during the day. I am worried about this because I am a teacher at an all boys school and have to teach teenagers all day. The last thing I need is to feel anxious. I don't even drink caffeine during working hours.
Am thinking about moving back my doses one hour each day until I get the pm dose going in the morning and the am dose in the pm after work.
Going to go three more weeks and then talk to my doctor about this , but I doubt he would have much of an opinion as I appear to be his first Viekira patient. At least thats what the nurse said.
Anyone see a problem with my plan?? Besides possible insomnia... (ps - I have also been able to take naps during the day even with the anxious feeling, by using meditation techniques.)

Are you talking about the riba dose? I'm a teacher too, so I know how challenging it canbe to constantly be dealing with the social,emotional and educational needs of 20 or so other humans. They don't know you're on treatment so they won't cut you any slack. Lol
I felt like that too for the first few weeks- like I was living on my nerves, living on the edge. Once you've achieved a fair saturation of riba people seem to move dose timing a bit. I had managed to hit that spot by about 2 weeks, but it might take longer for others.
Can your doctor order a ribavirin level test? I had one to see how much riba I was absorbing and holding onto - in my case far too much - so they dose-reduced me. I had some pretty -ve sx as a result of the riba. It was useful to see if I had achieved the therapeutic level necessary for treatment.

Anway, I am talking about all the meds together. I assume that the ratio of the riba to those other pills is important. But maybe not.
And I'm not sure if it is just the riba causing this feeling of anxiousness.
Never considered just flip flopping the riba. hmm.
I don't think one riba would make a difference ...but who know.s
Didn't know there was a riba level test. I will ask him at my 4 week appt.
Were you taking the over 160lb riba level or the under?? I am at the under (thank god), so hopefully not getting too saturated with riba.
