Health Plan Suggestions..
« on: April 04, 2015, 08:15:47 pm »
Hello all :)

I live in Pennsylvania and applied for medical assistance when I found out I have HCV..I got mail from Healthy PA stating I need to pick an insurance plan and PCP. There are four choices for coverage- Aetna, Gateway Health, United Health Care and UPMC for best health. Has anyone had personal experience with any of these providers?

I hope everyone is in good spirits and has a Happy Easter!!

I read reviews for each of these plans :( not good, they're lucky if they received two stars..

I don't think this has anything to do with the state medical assistance that I applied for..these are private coverage options.

Hello,
I had United Health Care for years. Lots of medical problems with myself. They were wonderful to me. they changes prescription plans the last couple of yeas I didn't like.
Other than that I rate United Health Care high.

Thank you guys for the input!! I went with UPMC for best health because that's the insurance my PCP and GI will accept. I don't meet the guidelines for harvoni just yet :( but hoping with some time I will. I'm happy you got approved and best wishes to you!!
