Title: EOT
Post by: sickpuppy on October 14, 2015, 11:47:00 am
Hello. Good to be here. I sent the last of my Harvoni-grade warriors into the battle on Sunday.

I'm now awaiting my EOT results, but as the rest of you, fear the worst. Every single new 'tingle' I have is, I believe, because of 'relapse'. I hope not.

On the last 2 weeks I had loose bowels. This still continues 2 days EOT and now 'the cold' (cold hands and feet) and 'tremors' (random muscle tremors) are back. I've always had them with HEP C until I started Harvoni. Harvoni made me warm and stopped the tremors.

On the plus side, man I sleep like a log now. Either the Ribavirin or the Harvoni was making me sleep less, and wake-up tired.

I'll update on the EOT probably (hopefully) on Friday.

Glad to hear from you, sickpuppy. You were a very fast responder and had better baseline numbers than I did, so things are looking very "up" for you. After my treatment ended, I had similar events to yours: often feeling very cold and needing a lot of sleep. I missed the "Harvoni High" that had given me so much energy. But I am happy to report that by now, 2 weeks after EOT, things have stabilized. I'm definitely feeling MUCH better than before treatment, and nearly as good as when on Harvoni. My hepatologist doesn't do an EOT test, so I'm living under the assumption that I'll reach SVR12. If not? I'll deal with it then. Meanwhile, life beckons.

Every good wish,

Gnatty

Good luck for SVR12. I'm cold all the time so I can't measure temperature appropriately. I'll be wearing a cardigan while others are in a t-shirt. It's how I roll.
