Shout out to CVS
« on: April 13, 2015, 11:03:21 pm »
Just wanted to mention that the folks at CVS have been outstanding in their support of my tx.  They answered many questions I had pre treatment to help steady my anxiety. I'm now starting week 6 and received my 2nd call today from an RN with CVS just to see how things are going. She asked about side effects, lab results, if I'm drinking lots of water, reminded me to take my pill at the same time daily... pretty informal, and she was really pleasant to speak with.

They also call about 10 days before refill date to get a ship date in order for the next delivery.  Nice to have good people on your side pulling for you on the journey.

Regards, Pete

Yes, they did a good job just like you said. My only complaint was the awful automatic Phone messages. Most went to my answering machine then I'd have to call back. You had to voice enter your birth date such as 1958 numerically spoken: one, nine, five, eight. Not nineteen fifty-eight like I am used to. I'd mess it up at least once. It was an exercise in following directions and patience. Hate me some automatic phone menus/messages regardless where they come from.

I gree Pete.  CVS has been outstanding.  From Day 1 until last REFILL.  Follow-up and refill reminders have been great.  Great company...
