Title: Gluten-free diet good or bad for those with hepatitis?
Post by: farmgirl on June 29, 2011, 12:34:26 pm
Wasn't really sure where to put this question so apologies if it is in the wrong place.

I have a couple of friends (they don't have Hep) that have recently switched to a gluten-free diet. One of them has Rheumatoid Arthritis which she has been told helps with this type of diet.

I was also reading this blog about it...
Should I or should I not go gluten-free? http://is.gd/IbODXQ

My question is would this be helpful (or harmful) for someone living with hepatitis?

Hmm. That is a good question. I'd guess it couldn't hurt. Anything that avoids processed foods getting into your system is a good thing hands down in my book.
