Time for some good news.
« on: June 19, 2016, 02:54:03 pm »
I'm 1 month post treatment and undetected!  I see how many people are feeling badly and just wanted to add some good news.  My mood is often still riba rotten but I really am coming along and heading back to normal.  My labs are looking good and I am still Determined.  I'm getting back into the swing of things and insist on living the good life.
My heart goes out to those in so much discomfort.  I was lead to think that the cure would be instant, but our chemistry has been bombarded. Hang in there.  Our bodies have amazing wisdom..

Hi Determined,

Well I just found out that I am also undetected at 6 weeks eot.  I was a bit late getting the test done.  It is the best feeling to know that one major hurdle has been cleared and hopefully we are both on our way to being cured.  I also can relate to not feeling well for at least a month after finishing treatment, but now I feel like myself again, just a little bit better!!  It is funny that one thing I noticed and knew it was a good sign, is that I use to wake up with numb hands, and it would take at least 30 minutes to regain feeling.  Almost like if you sleep on your hand and it falls asleep.  It would happen during the day if I was riding a bike, etc.  Well I started to notice the last few weeks that I don't feel that way anymore.  Just thought I would throw that out there.  Best of luck to all.  Brie

Thanks, Brie.  Glad to hear that your numbness is resolving and that you are feeling better over all.  I am 5 weeks out now and doing better.  I did beat up the vacuum cleaner last week, but aside from that, my Riba Rage is diminishing quickly.  I'm working my way back - just got back on my bicycle  It wasn't speedy but it was a good start.  It seems for us that things will get steadily better.  Thanks for the update.  Stay in touch.
