Veteran at V.A, Hospital
« on: April 23, 2016, 08:18:57 am »
Hello, Group
The V.A. Hospital is aggressively treating all veterans that are infected. Therefore, let me be the first to say that I had been tested, and had been to a support group and had my liver tested with blood work.  Now, I am being treated.  I had my FIRST DAY on 04/22/2016.  So far, so good. I will keep you updated.

Hi Ebbony,

That is wonderful and so glad to hear how well they are taking care of you.  It is the only way it should be!  Best of luck with your treatment.  Most of us tolerate these drugs very well, so I hope you will too!!  Brie

Welcome to the forum, Ebbony! Hopefully your journey to SVR will be uneventful, as mine has been.  Took pill #60 of Harvoni today and tested "undetected" on my 8 wk labs this week, so all is going well.  Keep us posted on your progress...... the future is bright, FT

Thanks to all with well wishing to me. The second day that I have noticed is that I am a little tired and find myself napping a little more. I have not experience any headaches yet, but it is only the second day.

Which treatment are you taking?  I found I was very tired on days 3-5 and slept a lot, then on days 6 & 7 had a lot more energy, which has continued.  Many of us are finding that between days 4 and 7 we get more energy, so hopefully you will, too.  FT

Hi, Ebbony!! I'm nearing the end of week 4 of Harvoni. I've had virtually no side effects! Which treatment are you on?
