Now that hepatitis C treatments in the pipeline are approaching 100% efficacy, experts say the prospect of significantly slowing the spread of the virus through treatment has become an exciting prospect. It's an idea called treatment as prevention, or TaSP, and has been used with some great results in the HIV fight.
But targeting the right population with treatment is key to achieving an effective TasP strategy. Who do you think should get on board first?
