In an ongoing trial consisting of people with genotype 1 of hep C who are coinfected with HIV, 93.5% have achieved a sustained virologic response (a.k.a “cure”) within 12 weeks on this new fixed-dose combo. The 24-week group is a bit further behind in the process, but so far, 96.9% have reached an SVR, with 8 weeks of therapy left.
