I decided to call my insurance company, one more time - at the end of the day today....
HARVONI APPROVED!!!
I then talked with Walgren's Specialty and they have it in their pipeline - telling me that I'll have if Friday if all goes well. They have to get on the phone with Support Path to activate the co-pay coupon, etc. Friday's good!
Now that I've been through this "process" once, I can see the mistakes I made that could have cut the 4 weeks it took down to 2 weeks. Not a big deal for most, but with this "Medicare" thing hanging over my head (to begin January 1st) it certainly put the bums rush on me!
