Before starting S&O, I read this forum and was encouraged by everyone's positive experiences. I started medication on Jan 27th and had a few concerns, but no real side effects. If I drink lots of water, I don't get headaches. I stay covered and lathered up with sunscreen if I'm going to be in the sun (because of Olysio's side effects).
My first blood result after only two weeks showed blood enzymes of 20 & 36 - in the normal range for the first time in 13 years! In Oct, they were 62 & 76. My viral load is 18 after only two weeks!! Previously it was 4.3 million. My doctor's visit was in the 4th week, so he said "I know it's at 0 now." I didn't have my bloodwork done this week (4th week) because I have a cold. Waiting until I'm over it because I don't want results to be affected by it. Getting there :)
I'm so excited, hopeful & grateful for beating HepC! My doc said I'm a lucky woman - also beat breast cancer 13 years ago!!
