Title: Help with pharmacy name for Ribavarin
Post by: dlong66 on June 28, 2015, 07:09:08 am
I'm currently approx. 3 months or so into treatment for genome type 3, Ribavarin and Solvaldi.  I get these meds through a grant so I only deal with the pharmacies over the phone and then it's only when they call me.  There's been some kind of mix up at the pharmacies and I've been out of my meds for over 2 weeks now.  I know this can compromise the treatment however my doc says to continue taking the meds when they come in.  My question is does anyone know the name of the pharmacy that dispenses the Ribavarin for the grants?  If there is more than one just throw some names at me I'll know it when I hear it.  A google search has not turned up anything.  Before anyone says it, yes I should have the number and name for them somewhere however I usually put all my meds in a dispenser and throw the containers away.  Thanks for any help you can give.

What is the name of the grant? What is the brand name of ribavirin (there are many)? Does your phone show the pharmacy number when they have called maybe it is in your phone number list. What pharmacy did your doctor send your prescriptions to?

Just some sleuthing ideas
