Title: Hep C and voice
Post by: staceys on July 04, 2015, 11:12:31 am
Hey!  I have had Hep C for about 10 years now and I am losing  my singing voice.  I recently had to quit my music ministry at my church.  I was a fine Mezzo Soprano and I feel like have lost a precious gift.  Do any of you know if these things are related?

I've never heard that. However, I know that many things will affect the voice, including aging, singing improperly, allergies, etc. Many singers learn the hard way how susceptible the voice is. An ENT specialist, a voice therapist, and or a vocal coach may help you reclaim your gift.

Thank YOU!!!!  Well, it's not singing improperly and I have never had allergies.  Hmm.  Maybe thyroid, I've heard that somewhere.  Anyway, thanks again.  I see you did well with Harvoni.  Congratulations
