Title: definition of brain fog: taking a Harvoni pill then minutes later not being sure

definition of brain fog: taking a Harvoni pill then minutes later not being sure. Having to go to calander ...count days & then count pills to be sure. Hope I don't do that again. Really knew I took it when the headache appeared. NICE!!

I had a journal for recording when I took my pills each day just for that reason. I would forget 10 min later - Did I take my pill, or did I just think about taking my pill…?

cheers,
kim :)

I mark off the calander & was writing down stuff at first but stated feeling better so stopped writing & you can see that I am not as proactive as you, Kim!This is the first time I really wasn't sure...I have a rescue kitten here that was climbing up my leg so maybe that is why or I am just losing it!

Exactly.  Harvoni in one hand, red pen to mark calendar with exact time in the other.  I'm pretty sure if I didn't do that I'd be counting the pills every other day.

I so wish I could just use a Sun-Sat plastic pill container like I have forever for supplements.  But the consulting pharmacist made just a to-do about keeping them in the original bottle that it spooked me.  Which is silly because I'm sure the point is, "keep them airtight, dry and room temperature."  I guess I'm superstitious about breaking the rules.  :o

I do have one exception - if I'm going to be gone from home when I'm supposed to take one, I take one pill with me so I can stick to my time schedule.  Take the bottle?!?!  ahahahaha!  It's worth so much more than my car it's not even funny.  Come to think of it, two of these little orange diamonds might get me a comparable ride.  ;D

I put a P on the calendar before I put the pill in my mouth- and the I turn the bottle upside down.  Turn it back up next morning.
