Please join us for a webinar featuring three hepatitis C advocates sharing their stories and the work they are doing in their communities. The webinar will consist of each panelist presenting their stories and the work they are doing, followed by question and answer.

Christopher Abert survived 3 months of Interferon, Ribaviran and Sovaldi treatment to achieve SVR in 2014. Chris helped found the Indiana Recovery Alliance Harm Reduction Project in southern Indiana.

Kimberly Morgan Bossley is the president of The Bonnie Morgan Foundation for HCV and a strong advocate for hepatitis C putting a personal face to this disease by sharing her story at many conferences and public venues. Kim was cured under a trial in 2014 for late stage liver disease and now dedicates her time in raising awareness and urging others to get TESTED, get TREATED, get CURED.

Lisa Lee is a graduate student, an HIV and hepatitis C volunteer tester and counselor at Northern Nevada HOPES, a mother, and has been living with chronic hepatitis C since 1997. Lisa's research in medical anthropology is based on collaborative participatory action research with Nevada's first (and only) legal syringe services program in Reno, Nevada.
