I am new to this forum. I am a hep b carrier with antibody e postitive and antigen e negative (serconversion 14 years ago). I checked my liver function every 6 months since then. It came out normal all the time and this month i checked, the alt and ast are still normal and i test hep b dna this time,too and it comes out 5500 iu/ml. Throughout my research,  i do not believe i need treatment but it said that > 2000 iu/ml needs closely monitor. I will see my gi doctor soon. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
