Just got my 12 week post tx results and its undetected so I'm cured!! Had read about 6 weeks post tx that there were more relapses for G3s on 12 weeks Daklinza Sofosbuvir so I spent the next 6 weeks -plus 2 weeks waiting on results - worrying about the virus returning but thankfully it didn't happen.
I hope this gives others some hope and reassurance especially G3s on these meds.
Good luck everyone! Let's hope for more people getting on the new drugs and getting cured.

Congrats on being cured, Helena!
And that is very exciting that 12 weeks of Daklinza/Sofosbuvir (and without ribavirin) is enough to cure Geno 3.

Thank you Kim. I did worry after reading that article about relapses but kept trying to hold on to the stats that 96% cured (over a few trials) if treatment naive and no cirrhosis. I just hope more people can get these new treatments -I took a chance and travelled (literally) to the other side of the world to get the meds myself and then had to convince the NHS to monitor me. It was obviously worth it but scary at the time.

Hi helena.congratulations on your fantastic results post tx..Im about to begin Solvaldi/Daklinza twomorw..Im like you i have been really paranoid about being in the bottom 10% of not being cured. But after seing your post im definatly feeling more confident.I dont see many people posting about doing just the Solvadi and Daklinza tx..mostly everyone has Ribo with there tx too?

Thank you nodarkcloudz. Be hopeful, no matter where we G3s (I assume you are) are in relation to other genotypes/treatments, remember the solvaldi/daklinza cure rate is extremely high. I wish you the best of luck, that your treatment is well tolerated and that you achieve the result I did. :D
