Title: Hep B panel conclusive timelines
Post by: Nervous2017 on January 08, 2017, 10:10:08 am
Hello,

For a full Hep B panel (Ag and Ab core and surface), what is a conclusive time line for negative results?

TIA

You should ask your doctor who ordered this testing for you this question. Hepatitis b is somewhat tricky to diagnose and best for the experts like your doctor to explain to you.

Thanks Lynn..

I'm totally Neg at 155 days... Which the Doc said is 99.999999 etc... conclusive and whic other online readings have said.. but to your point, there is little conclusive statements.

Some of the well respected sites say 150 days or 160 days.. But others say 180 days.. Kind of hard to get a clear insight into what is conclusive..

Ok so your doctor has said you are not infected i would go with that vs what you read in the internet.

99.99999 is pretty good odds and nothing in life is guaranteed except death and taxes.

We here for the most part are patients coming together in a support community your doctor is the expert.

This would be an excellent time to get hep B vaccine.
