11 more weeks to go on Harvoni. I have no side effects, except some tiredness.
Do most of you have labs at 4 weeks?
I had an abdominal ultrasound that showed some evidence of hepatitis, but no tumors or masses. They said I have a mildly dilated pancreatic duct. The doctor said they follow this as it can be a pre-cursor to pancreatic cancer.
I am happy to be tolerating the Harvoni.

tillyboo, glad your first week went so well. It's common to have labs at 4 weeks (that was the way my hepatologist did things), although it seems to be less common now, since there's enough experience with Harvoni that the hepatologists know that the vast majority of patients are undetected by then, but of those who are still detected, nearly all will be undetected by the test twelve weeks after the end of treatment. THAT's the test that decides if someone is cured.
Sorry there's a new thing doctors will be watching, but it's all too common that a diagnostic test turns up something that just MIGHT be a problem down the road.

I'm glad the tx is going easy for you.I think we have all been more tired than usual when we treat.That seems to be the norm regardless of the tx we're going through.I did the Viekira.One thing I'll tell you in advance with the Harvoni is not to worry if you still show detectable through this,and don't get discouraged.We've had a lot of discussions about this but for some reason a lot of people on the Harvoni do and they all went on to SVR.A lot of us think that maybe the tests are picking up some clutter from the killed virus.Whatever the reason don't get yourself in a twist.Good luck.
