Title: Stinging in upper right ab
Post by: RickG16 on June 13, 2017, 01:02:41 am
I have acute Hepatitis B. Still feeling this occasional stinging in my upper right ab. Been 2 months now since all the other symptoms went away.

Is this just normal?

Had intended to wait six months for a test to see if I had passed the virus. But I think I will get checked up.

You should probably ask your doctor. That is a really vague symptom could be a lot of things.

Hi Lynn, thanks for the reply. I was tested last week and thankfully I am now negative for HBV and my liver is looking normal. The doctor thinks the discomfort I speak of could be a stomach problem, and has given me a drug which treats stomach ulcers etc.

Thanks

With having had hep b I can understand why the first thing you would think of is the pain was coming from your liver and not some other reason.

Hope your new med helps your stomach problems and you feel better soon

Best to you
