Title: Two years post TX Viral load and Liver panel Labs
Post by: slats1056 on July 20, 2017, 10:56:57 am
Hello to All of Heplandia!,

Been away for a while taking care of things ! :o It has been right at two years since I started TX. with Harvoni. Completed TX. in October 2015.  Still having some issues with joint pain and fatigue that has eluded diagnosis  >:(. Tinnitus in the left ear is increasing and never ending :-X ;D. Been working with My Internist ( schooled in both Eastern and Western Medicine as well as manipulation of pressure and trigger points ) and Chiropractor/Massage therapist for the body and joint aches and pains. Seems to keep things in check . but it is still an ongoing project  ??? .
Writing the rapidly failing eyesight to Old Timers Syndrome.  ;) As soon as I complete the next rounds of Lab tests and Dr. appts. ( Gastro.,Internist,& Urologist )
it will be time for the Eye Doc  ::) !
Between Medical , Insurance , Domestic , Lab , and day to day bills I stay pretty broke. Soon the Legal bills will kick in and then things will really get tight. Overall I have been staying pretty up beat and positive. Rolling with the punches as it were! ;) . I ain't homeless or starving  :). Just recently lost Bro. in law and trying to watch out and keep tabs on My Sis. There just needs to be more hours in the day  :P .
Anyway , I have been reading up and lurking here and there trying to stay up on things. Thanx to You guys that have sent Me the PMs and the words of encouragement. I just wonder what has become of the other TX mates from back in the day?

I shall sign off for now, but I shall return ( or should I say-- I'LL BE BACK! )

                                                         Slats.
I TOLD GOD TO PROTECT ME FROM MY ENEMIES AND I STARTED LOSING FRIENDS! 8)

Hiya, Tommy -- glad you keep on keeping on. You are taking the 2-year-post-tx test even earlier than I: my lab will be a couple of months from now (SVR102 if still UD).

Good luck,

Gnatty

Hi Tommy! Great to hear from you. I've been wondering how you are doing. I finished my harvoni/ribavirin treatment 2 years ago this month, so am very close to my 2-year SVR.

Hang in there!

I'm still here too. Went to the specialist last month - forgot to get copies of my blood tests but the fibroscan showed no change and the ultrasound showed no cancer so I take all that as a positive!

I'm still working in my day job, and still agitating for those with HCV to get tested, treated and cured after the working day is over.

Was in Canada visiting my daughter Dec/Jan. Hope to head over during warmer weather one day!  Going over Dec/Jan suits my work though as that's when we have our summer school holidays. So I have plenty of time to stay visiting and sightseeing.
