So so bad that I have to take shots of XOLAIR.   Once a month and it doesn't always work I take multiple antihistamines that Durant always work.  I have t gone a month without them. So frustrating. I was wondering is anyone else hsveing this problem.  Help.
I am also a breast cancer and colon cancer survivor. I was on herceptin and taxtotere

Sorry to read about your hives ouch.

I also treated with Sovaldi and Olysio for 12 weeks but relapsed and then treated with Harvoni for 24 weeks along with ribavirin for 25 of those weeks. I did not have any skin problems. Not a lot of folks have treated with Sovaldi/Olysio combo and I tend to doubt any one will going forwards.

I hope your doctor can find you some relief for your hives soon

How did I relapse? Well I was not detected on treatment and at end of treatment of 12 weeks. But 12 weeks later my liver enzymes had returned to above normal and I again had a viral load similar to my pre treatment viral load.

They changed the recommendations when using Sovaldi and Olysio for patients like myself who were prior treaters with advanced liver disease. This revision of treatment duration was recommended shortly after my relapse go figure.

I was a 3 time null responder (no decrease in viral load) to interferon based treatment and was diagnosed with cirrhosis in January 2008. The recommendations for patients like me was changed from 12 to 24 weeks likely I am assuming I would have been successful were I treated for 24 weeks.

I haven't heard anyone lately saying they are using Sov/Oly now with the new generation meds of Harvoni and now many others that have since been approved.

Also for me it was a challenge even being prescribed Sov/Oly as the meds are made by two different manufactures and it was an "off label" use as in not per the prescribing information for either medication at the time back in March 2014.

Best of luck to you.
