Title: Advice on how to deal with hep c anxiety.
Post by: Worried252 on September 23, 2017, 09:09:35 pm
Hello all, I've posted many times before and I hope this will be my last. Without boring you throughout this entire message, I've had hep c anxiety for awhile. Checking my food at restaurants for blood, touching objects in stores and then immediately looking at my hand to check for blood. So on and so forth. It's ruining my relationship. I talked to a councilor but my sessions with him didn't seem to help very much. Any advice from you all would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Continue working with your counselor and ask about if there are any medecines you could consider that could help with your anxiety.

You could literally bathe in hep c infected blood or drink a glass and not contract hep c.

Hep c is difficult to contract. It requires hep c infected blood to enter your blood stream through an open wet weeping wound. But really more like being mechanically forced into your blood stream for example with a needle.

Please continue working with your counselor

Thank you. As I've discussed with my counseler, I think what gets me the most is the dry blood, membrane situation. Such as if you get blood in your eyes nose or mouth etc etc etc. and then dry blood being everywhere in my mind. Could you enlighten me on that?

As I said Hep c infected blood must enter your blood stream. Hep c is not easy to contract otherwise many more than 1% of the population would be infected.
