Title: Cured or not cured?
Post by: dennis32168 on April 22, 2018, 09:52:29 am
Hey there!

I have a question concerning my Hep B. I was diagnosed six months ago with Hep B. My lab results are as follows:

HBs AG: neg
Anti HBs: pos (> 1000 mlU/ml)
Anti HBc: pos
Anti HbC-IgM: neg

That pretty much describes a resolved Hep B infection, no chronicity. I also tested for Hep C and HIV, both neg. The problem is, that Im still experiencing pretty awful symptoms. I feel weak and nauseous, Im tired all the time and have a pain in my right abdomen, just to name a few. How can that be? Is there anyone else experiencing the same? Is it normal, that even though Hep B is resolved, symptoms continue?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Feeling weak and nauseous are really non specific symptoms and could be many things. My suggestion is to discuss this with a medical professional like your doctor.
