Title: Off Vosevi 4 days, recovering and worrying
Post by: Lukey on September 30, 2018, 11:02:11 pm
It's OK that I used my same Night Guard a few days post Tx? I soaked it in h2o2 a couple times on TX, and I also put it in boiling water a time or two.
HCV is a blood to blood virus, so I'm alright with this? It's not going to re infect me?

I went back to my old Night Guard that I haven't used in about a year or two. I put it in h2o2 and it didn't bubble. I don't think there are any germs or virus on it.

Not a problem no worries.

I used my same toothbrush throughout treatment and after. I took no special measures beyond rinsing off my tooth brush in hot water after use.

Glad to hear it. I think some people fret about this too much Some of them even buy a new toothbrush every day. That can get a little expensive and it's probably a total waste of money. Thanks again. Lynn.

I guess they do have those single use toothbrushes Colgate Wisp if someone feels the need that could be a good way to go.

I brush and floss daily. I soaked my toothbrushes in h2o2 a few times on Tx. I also put them in boiling water. EOT I set them aside and started using new ones. I was thinking I might use them again in about 6 months. Would that be wise or risky?

I didn’t do any of those things just changed my tooth brush at a normal interval. The only thing I did was run my brush under hottest tap water when I was done to rinse it off and so it would air dry a little faster which is what I have always done and still do.

Still cured.
