You are not at risk. A facility licensed in the state of California or any state must obey certain laws about hygiene in order to maintain their license.

A weeping wet wound is a fresh injury actively bleeding. Hepatitis C infected blood must enter the bloodstream of an uninfected individual. The most common way people become infected is from the sharing of IV drug needles or getting a transfusion prior to 1989 when the antibody test for hepatitis C was developed and the blood supply was secured.

Hepatitis C is called a silent illness because the majority of people who are infected have no symptoms and are not aware they are infected.
Only a very small percent of the US population has hepatitis C. Getting hepatitis C from a licensed nail salon is not on the list of risk factors from the US CDC.

I think you would be better served by speaking to your doctor about your anxiety issues and maybe getting some treatment.

Best of luck.
