Heya sorry to bug here

Is there a risk if there was small amounts of blood on a commonly touched object such as a doorhandle , Tap etc and the person didn’t wash their hands after touching this ?

Thanks

If you are asking about the risk of infection from a blood-borne virus most will die in short order. Even hep c whole it can survive for several weeks that is in undisturbed condition hitch a door knob or faucet handle at not generally considered undisturbed.

Also the big one is then the undisturbed blood must somehow enter the blood stream of an uninfected person. So no not really a risk unless you have an open wet weeping wound and somehow force the dried blood into your blood stream.

Also only about 4% of the population has hep c so the odds of randomly encountering hep c infected blood just laying around in the world somewhere undisturbed is exceedingly low.
