So you had stomach pain right side? Did they do an imaging of your liver, and gall bladder? I get little pains on my right side. I also have a bunch of gall stones. So I have always attributed it to that. but the pain is usually fleeting, is yours?

It is stomach pain on my right side that sometimes is right above my navel and on the side. It is going away as time continues on. I had a liver biopsy in the area 3 months ago. When the pain was at its worse I had a full CT scan and it showed normal liver size and no stones in gallbladder or kidney. I am wondering if its bc I had hep c since birth that my body is just trying to figure out how to work again?

Also - I never had this pain until I got the phone call that I had Hep C. So I am undergoing therapy because it might be partly do to PTSD/somatic pain or a combination of the two.

cmarie,
Yes - it could be any of those things.
FWIW - I got jabbing pains from time to time in my liver area for years, when I had Hep C (yay!) - but they've slowly faded away since I got treated (almost 3 years ago).
Your pains appear to be a little higher up, though - which I can't explain?
Maybe your Dr can shed some light on it?
