Title: Mavyret Post Treatment pain
Post by: deedeeme on October 06, 2019, 02:27:20 am
Hi, everyone! I finished treatment 6/14/19 and am cured! But starting week 5 of Mavyret, I began experiencing joint pain. I wanted to stop treatment, but pressed on. Fast forward to 3 1/2 months later, and I am in pain EVERY SINGLE DAY. Over the counter meds don't even touch it. I had HCV for about 35 years. I've never gone through what I'm going through now. My question is ARE THERE OTHERS LIKE ME? Any suggestions with what helps? I'm desperate at this point.

I have just finished treatment successfully. I had few if any side effects but in week 8 I have had bad if not severe low back/spinal pain. I am active windsurfing, so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it, bit now a few days after stopping meds it seeming to have subsided...

Mike really?, please enlighten me of the "comorbid" conditions you have been told my mother had?  I'm curious to hear this.

I'm sorry for your loss.

As I recall, and with all due respect, your mother was in her 80's and had numerous comorbid conditions. There wasn't then, nor is there today, clinical data that links   Solvadi and Olysio to stokes. There is, however, amble data suggesting a link between age and stroke.

Again, I'm sorry for loss.

Best wishes, Mike

Hi Daughter

I think you commented on a different post than you intended. There is no comment from Mike on this thread

Some people say that such things like kratom and magic mushrooms can help with joint pain. Do you think is it worth it?

Hi jeremy

People with liver disease should avoid any medications not approved by their doctor. Everything you ingest is something your liver needs to proseas you clean out of your system. Especially true for intoxicants. Also there is no over site or standardization of these products. So there’s no way of knowing about what possible possibly dangerous ingredients may be in the mixture.
