Today i went in for my routine plasma donation and I have a question.
They clean your injection site with iodine (for like 30 seconds I think) before inserting the needle. Would this kill any risk of hepatitis if I had accidentally touched something with someone else’s blood on it and then touched my arm prior? I noticed blood on the seat (not mine), and I’m not sure if I touched it, so I’m not sure if I should worry. I did have to move my sleeve and therefore touched the area the needle was inserted (but before they cleaned it with iodine). Thank you for any answers you can provide.
