France Gets Lowest Sovaldi in All of Europe…. But Why?
« on: December 02, 2014, 12:10:11 pm »
In France, a 12-week course of Sovaldi treatment will cost around 41,000 euros (equivalent to $51,373) -- a reduction of nearly $18,000 from the drug’s original price earlier this year.

Coincidentally, in October, France said it would begin taxing pharmaceutical companies that produced expensive new drugs to treat the hepatitis C virus. Could these two decisions be connected?
