Harvoni 4 week viral load UNDETECTABLE
« on: January 16, 2015, 12:06:42 pm »
Sitting in my doctors Parking lot, after just getting the amazing news.  From 460,000 to zero in just 4 weeks of treatment.  What a roller coaster ride of sadness, fear, and frustration(insurance haggling)...and now elation, joy, hope and RELIEF.

I am so grateful...and I hope everyone currently on treatment gets the same news!  The numbers are on our side!!!!

Thanks also to this wonderful forum, where many random strangers helped with great advice.

NYC...Great News !!!  yesterday I received the results for my 4 week labs and also was UND. It really is a miracle drug. I can relate to the range of emotions you are experiencing. Really exciting stuff. Hoping we all stay UND and get cured!

NYC - Great news!  Feels good, doesn't it?

Today is the first day of of my 3rd bottle of Harvoni!  It doesn't seem like 2 months have passed since I opened that first bottle.

Not sure about the future of follow-ups. I was suppose to get an 8 week blood test
but my nurse hasn't sent me the update.  I feel better than I have in years.
I'm pretty hopeful that this is going to work, as I was undetected at 5 weeks.

Hello Group! I've been Hep C positive for over thirty years. A liver biopsy showed I was at stage F3. I started Harvoni treatment 0n 12/15/2014 with no noticeable side effects other than increase in appetite. My pre- treatment HC Viral Load was 7,700,000, AST 247, ALT 146. After 2 weeks my HCV VL was reduced to 1,050, AST to 46, and ALT to 34! I'm now declared "Undetectable". My 4 week results are pending!  This new drug really works!!

Hi Tbone!

Thanks so much for sharing your journey so far and loving the great news!

It just makes me all warm and fuzzy with a huge smile every single time I hear we are killing the beast! Let the battle continue and hopefully one day it there will also be a vaccine for it so we never have to worry about future generations dealing with this monster.
