last month of Harvoni....almost
« on: February 04, 2015, 02:07:12 pm »
I am currently going through th typical insurance nightmare getting my final month of Harvoni to complete my 12 weeks of treatment.  Apparently I need another pre-authorization for some reason.  So I am hoping this all gets sorted out today since I only have two days of meds left, and do not want any interruption of treatment.

I was told on my 4 week blood tests that I was undetectable...however, yesterday I noticed liver pain.  I am just about at 8weeks of treatment, and this liver pain is making me worry that this disease is coming back.  This is exactly how it used to feel before treatment.  A dull annoying pain. I have noticed it a little today, but maybe I am just being paranoid.  I have had almost 8 weeks of no liver discomfort at all...so this is a little disturbing.  I will go get my 8 week blood test tomorrow so we will see.
