Harvoni 12 week results...
« on: March 19, 2015, 03:20:44 pm »
Harvoni kicked this virus @$$!  I was undetectable at 4 weeks, and just got my results for 12 weeks...still undetectable.  Enzymes were normalized at 4 weeks, and I never had any cirrhosis from the results of my initial biopsy.

Feeling fantastic.  A new lease on life.  The whole 12 weeks flew by with no perceivable side effects.  I did just fall down my stairs and fractured my shoulder, but other than that...I feel fantastic.  Now I can move on and forget about this ugly virus.

I hope everyone can get this life saving medication.  The hell my insurance company put me through, and the stress of funding the remaining 45k dollars of copays was quite an ordeal.  I ended up spending total out of pocket less than 500 dollars which included doctors visits, lab tests etc.  I can't argue with that. What a deal.  Good luck everyone.  Signing off.  (See you in 12 weeks for another test....)

In all seriousness...I am incredibly relieved.  I can look at my 20month old son and not be scared for the future anymore.  I am so grateful for the treatment I've recieved
