I'm talking Harvoni. This is day 14. I dose @ 8am. By late evening I feel pain in my liver area. Is this happening to any one else?

The Harvoni seems to really upset the stomach. I hear mine rumbling all the time since taking this drug. Could it be gas by chance? I've never experienced what I think is liver pain.

Hi stachi,

I was having similar conditions as you, the first 2 weeks were more noticeable in side effects for me, as I progressed into week 3 and 4 , the effects moderated and less occurrences, at week 9 now, I am feeling much better fewer effects, less pain in abdomen, in my case my spleen was inflamed, after losing 12 lbs I feel better,

I changed my diet early in TX, and started drinking lemons juiced in water and ate no red meat, Mostly wild salmon and lean chicken, low salt, no artificial sweeteners, I think the diet is a key part of easing side effects... Gastro especially...

Hope this helps..

Diet and drink lots of water. But don't disregard your symptoms. Not uncommon to have gallbladder disease if you have liver disease. If pain persists, go get a check up.
