Harvoni arrived at my job today. Bless my co-workers, they were so excited for me. Took my first pill around 12 noon. Probably a mistake, as I passed out from exhaustion around 5:30 pm.  Will likely take in the evenings before bedtime from here on out.  What works best for you all? Any other suggestions besides keeping hydrated? I am fortunate to only have to take the treatment for 8 weeks...hoping to be undetectable by July. Will continue to update and bless you all for your support.

The first week for me was tiring, that first day for me to I was exhausted.  But it gets  better as the week goes on. Day eight now and feel almost normal again ,well what ever normal is. I must say my head is clearer today than it has been in a long time. Stay positive. Joe

That first day was crazy for me too.  I think it was the stress and excitement of taking the first pill.  Not knowing what to expect even though I read so much about it.  I started taking mine at 12 noon also but quickly switched to 8 AM.  I bring it with me to work and take it at exactly 8 every day.  I thought that taking at 12 was keeping me awake at night
Today is my 20th day and I feel OK.  An occasional headache but that is about it

Good luck to you and all and I hope for everlasting SVR

Feeling poorly today, body aches, belly ache and headache  :( I am still trying to figure out the right time of day to take the medicine.  Took it at 8pm last night, but was up til after midnight and must get up at 6:30am.  I'm going to try taking it around 5pm after I get home from work.  I know it should be taken at the same time every day, I guess I just need to pick a time and commit to it.  Thanks for any and all support.  Also, what is the best pain reliever for us to take? I thought it was ibuprofen, then I read it's bad for the liver and acetaminophen is better...any ideas?

Hi Killinger,

I'm at week 9 and have been using lemon water every day, it works, try it, also
Limit red meat, and go low salt, and cut out processed food, go organic if possible,
Your diet, you have control over, it will definitely make you feel better by eating only real foods, avoid high fat foods...

I had a very difficult first 2 weeks, after changing diet, things are good and steady..

I take my pill in the morning with lemon water,  no problems sleeping...
