Insurance company liable for damages
« on: May 02, 2015, 12:20:36 pm »
I'm hiring an attorney even if they approve coverage for Harvoni. Upon sending in the prescription my Harvoni my fibrosis score was 1.8 now it is just over 3. I have appealed 3x's and my insurance company has sent my case to the american medical review institute. I'm confident I will get the med, but still my liver was further damaged due to their delay. Two specialist suggested I get the med and I was sent a denial from a f**king pharmacist that works for the insurance company....My insurance policy is now in the hands of an attorney being reviewed.
I have simple partial epilepsy with intractable seizures. Meaning the sicker my liver gets the worse my epileptic seizures are (frequency and severity). A second specialist, my neurologist, has also suggested I get the Harvoni.
They better hope I dont die from a grand mal. My insurance company would be looking at a wrongful death suit. My wife will follow this through.
