Fatty liver and hep c is not a good combination. It's s associated with a more severe
disease and reduced response rate to combined antiviral therapy, at least with the old treatments. You can read more about it here:
http://hepatitiscnewdrugresearch.com/fatty-liver-and-hcv.html

My first biopsy showed an explicit fatty liver. It did not show on ultrasound though.
I changed my diet and lost about 12% of my body weight and my next biopsy 4 years later showed no sign of fatty liver.

You can have a fatty liver without being overweight, I had a BMI of 22 when diagnosed with fatty liver. Now I keep my BMI around 19,5.

I have read that if you loose 8-9 % of your body weight (regardless of start weight) the amount of stored fat in the liver will be reduced by 50%.

If you do have a fatty liver and are already on treatment I don't think you should worry too much about it. Just try to eat healthy, watch your sugar intake and look forward to being cured.
