Waiting list after treatment
« on: April 17, 2015, 02:51:15 pm »
Hello,

Since it seems like many of the members here are finishing up their respected treatments on Harvoni and the long wait begins, this could be a good place to have everyone post when they finished their treatment and their 3 month wait date to be checked along with their results. This could be a good place for everyone to follow up with each other to see when and if they are cured and show other people who are still on treatment that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

My last pill was on 3/12/15. Test results showed undetected.

3 month lab is on 6/18/15.

Glad to read all the good news! Let's get this list as long as we can to show that Hep C will no longer be apart of our lives.

Momof3 - It looks like I am going to get my final results about 2 weeks before you do. I also did the 8 week treatment. I hope to post the good news and have it carry on to you as well.

Hello I just wanted to check in and let everyone know I went to Doctors today to go over my post treatment blood work. I am genotype 1a. Stage one to stage two liver damage. I started Harvoni in December and was prescribed twelve weeks worth of the medication. I finished my last pill Febuary 22nd and had blood drawn June 9th. I was told by my doctor today that I am undetected and cured. My doctor told me that I know longer have the virus in my blood. He said I will always test positive because of the antibodies but I no longer have the virus. Whooohooo so happy. This was my second try at treatment the first was back in 2002 interferon and ribavirin for one year. I relapsed and decided to wait for something better. I believe I have been infected for over twenty years. I am glad to be done with this and can now move on with my life. My doctor told me the damage that was done to my liver is reversable and I should go back to stage zero over time. He wants to see me back in one year to see how my liver has healed now that I am cured. I want to wish everyone luck and hope all are cured from this terrible disease. Harvoni has gave me a new lease on life I know longer feel drained with brain fog. I can truly feel the difference between the old me and new. Have more energy. Thank you everyone, I hope my post gives others hope, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
