Week 4 Lab results with Veikira. VL: UND
« on: August 02, 2015, 08:42:39 am »
I just got my week 4 results and can hardly believe my eyes. After 42 years of living with Hep C I'm virus free.

I'm speechless and so incredibly grateful for this new treatment.

Stats:
GEN 1b
Started Vikeira no riba

 6/29/15
Baseline: HCVL 337,512
PCR 5.53
AST 75
ALT 70

WEEK 4:
UNDETECTED
AST 33
ALT 18

Honestly first 4 week Side effects were unpleasant but week 5 was way different and totally manageable.

STAY THE JOURNEY it is worth it.

how wonderful! It is a great feeling isn't it? Today is my last day of treatment - 12 weeks vpak and riba. I was also undetected at weeks 3-4 after 44 years or so living with HCV. Post treatment bloodwork tomorrow then 12 weeks of waiting for that final bloodwork and hearing the word "cured". The journey is definately worth it! Keep it up!   Prudence

Doesn't it feel great? Almost unbelievable. I'm holding off my big celebration until week 12 EOT but seeing those numbers drop has taken an enormous weight off my shoulders

yes shootingforzero, it feels great. I too am putting off big celebration for after week 12 bloodwork.
Preliminary results from yesterday's bloodwork shows hemoglobin at 11.4 and RBC at 3.72 - both a bit below reference range. waiting for VL results.
