Can I catch hepatitis from changing sanitary bins?

We need to change sanitary bins at work and we only get gloves to do this.
Even with gloves on can I still catch a virus? How can I prevent this?

Hepatitis B: The Basics: What is it? How is it transmitted?
http://www.hepmag.com/articles/2511_18725.shtml

Quote
HBV is present in blood, semen and vaginal fluids and is transmitted primarily through sexual activity. Another major transmission route is sharing injection drug equipment (including needles, cookers, tourniquets) and, to a lesser extent, non-injection drugs (cocaine straws and crack pipes) due to the possibility of exposure to blood.
