plz some one help me
« on: November 11, 2015, 01:34:22 am »
Dear,

I finished treatment (Sovaldi+Olysio) and now PCR is negative after 6 months so SVR is persistent

I want to know if any one contaminated by my blood which contains only HCV antibodies as my PCR is negative what will happen

* he will break these antibodies and he will still negative to HCV antibodies and PCR stays negative

**or he will become positive to HCV antibodies and PCR stays negative

I know that newborn of mother with HCV can break HCV antibody if it is transferred to him through placenta within few month
it can be the same with adult if they contaminated with HCV antiboies ??

Regards

You do not have hep c virus there is nothing to transmit to another person.

Antibodies are made by your body when it tried to fight the virus.Antibodies are not the virus. Antibodies are caused when the person is exposed to the hepatitis c virus.

But it is always be best to ask your doctor for clarification of any medical question.

Congratulations on being cured!

Good luck

Not understanding well your question something did not translate well.

I do not understand "break antibodies"

If a person never was exposed to the hep c virus they will not have antibodies.

If a person ever had antibodies they will always have antibodies they will never test negative for antibodies.

If you have antibodies only and not the virus you cannot cause another to test positive for antibodies.

You cannot transmit antibodies. If you have the hep c virus there is a small chance if you have blood to blood contact with another person you could infect the other person with hep c and then they would test positive for the hep c virus and antibodies.

But if you test positive for hep c antibodies even though you test negative for the hep c virus with the HCV RNA by PCR test you will always and forever test positive to antibodies to the hep c virus

I hope that helps to answer your question

Good luck

Read your original question how would this other person be contaminated with your blood?

I am not a blood chemist I am guessing that maybe if they received a transfusion of your blood with hep c antibodies with no virus they might in that circumstance develop antibodies to hep c but I am not a micro biologist so I am totally guessing. This question would be best asked to a doctor.

But other than a blood transfusion what kind of exposure are you asking about when you said:

"I want to know if any one contaminated by my blood" what type of contamination do you mean?

Well as I said I am not a doctor or a medical person and as a guess maybe in the case of a large blood to blood interaction as in a blood transfusion maybe that could be possible but not through casual contact

The hep c virus is not easily transmitted.  But I do not know what type on contamination you are asking about between your antibody positive virus negative blood and another person.

Really if you need a real answer ask a doctor.

Good luck
