Clinical Trial for People Who Failed at Previous DAA
« on: December 16, 2015, 01:39:45 pm »
A few people on the forums have reported that they relapsed, or never reached SVR12, after taking Sovaldi, Harvoni or Viekira.

Here is a clinical trial that would be relevant to that situation. The trial is currently recruiting. There are study locations all over US, plus Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, France. It seems to be for all genotypes:

https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/study/NCT02607735

The trial is: "Safety and Efficacy of Sofosbuvir/Velpatasvir/GS-9857 in Adults With Chronic HCV Infection Who Have Previously Received Treatment With Direct-Acting Antiviral Therapy (POLARIS-1)"

It's all so promising right now. If people don't get cured one way, they'll get cured another.

If you don't mind asking, how's your liver are an F0-1-2-3-4? I'm an F4 compensated but am physically in great shape and my liver improved from my last failed treatment. I will share results as they are made available. This treatment surely is a breeze compare to taking Ribavirin.
