login issues and blocking of posts?
« on: June 27, 2016, 01:10:03 pm »
Hey all,

Maybe hep forums doesn't want me anymore.  1st off I have noticed that the 'https' has a red line through in when I log on.  Just recently I clicked the topic link on my email and was able to access the the thread, however, there was no reply access and I was blocked from all my personal info...in fact I was unable to perform any  functions whatsoever.  Three times and clicked other topics on my browser and the same issue.  Finally I had to log on as a guest and I eventually changed my password and able to post this message.

Has anyone had similar issues (Kim I know had posted something).  I still have not checked my history.  Have noted slow downloads as well.  I know this site is not that secure and everything is open.  Just wondering if my situation is isolated or that the system needs a password change ever so often.  or, a hack job.

Of course I was paranoid that I got dumped for being feisty...hmmmm

I have been experiencing slow-loading of the forums for a couple of weeks now. And several times in last few days it won't load for me at all - just keeps trying to load with no result. I am not noticing this with other sites I visit daily. So I think the problem is specific to the HepMag forums and not my own computer slowing down.

I am being blocked or, hacked.  Just tried a long post and they would not allow it.  If a moderator could get hold of me on my personal, I would appreciate it.

The speed issues have resolved for me today and last night. I can't speak to Beto's problems with being blocked.

thanks!
