Need advice

Long story short:
I tested after i passed out at my ex's house. I think he put something in my drink but i cannot prove it. My doctor agreed that getting tested was the best option for me as i don't know if he did anything or didn't. I got tested 4 months after this possible scenario for HIV (it was the HIV-1/HIV-2 + P24), gonorrhoea, chlamidiya, syphillis, and hep B (immune) and hep c antibody. Everything was negative. This would also be 10 months after i had unprotected sex with someone in November.

I'm happy everything was negative and felt a lot of relief. However, my boyfriend from 2 years ago and i reconnected. We had some deep kissing on Wednesday and 2 days later he texted me saying he thinks he has the stomach flu (fever, vomitting, chills, diahhrea), and a day after that saying he has bad neck pain and a headache.

I'm really concerned now because i had similar symptoms almost 10 weeks after the hypothetical scenerio where i passed out at my ex's. I had a headache, neck pain, etc. no vomitting or diahhrea though. What should i do? did i give him something? could it be hiv or something else? am i still in the window period and should i get tested again for hep c? I've seen varied info for testing at 12 weeks vs 24 weeks.

You tested negative for everything at 10 months post. Testing for hep c the time required is 6 months. You don't have anything at least at that point to give anyone.

Maybe he has the stomach flu as he assumes I think that is much more likely. He c is a blood born virus it is not transmitted by kissing. HIV is also not transmitted by kissing.

Not sure why you mentioned 12 weeks vs 24 weeks you said you were tested 10 months post? But anyway at 10 months after your original incident you tested negative for everything so at least at that time you did not have any of the illnesses you tested for.

What should you do? Have you ever considered talking to some one about anxiety and seeking treatment? I get the feeling you greatest health concern may be worrying about illnesses you do not have.

I think you misread my question. Its been 10 months since i had unprotected sex back in November which is considered conclusive. Its also been 4+ months since my ex date raped me back in April. I didn't go to the hospital straight away because i was scared. I was anally raped without lubrication so there was a lot of blood. I've read on the forum that people have gotten hep c from anal/anal rape. I went to the clinic yesterday and they said they don't think its a risk. What now? i'm scared because i might have hep c/hiv and its only been 4 months.

Sorry if I misunderstood your question. And even more sorry about what you have gone through. I assume you have filed charges against him. But anyway if you want you could get tested now for hep c antibodies the results are not conclusive at 4 months or you can wait until 6 months for better accuracy.

As far as HIV testing I don't know anything about that I am not a doctor or any type of medical professional. Just a patient who has cirrhosis and used to have hep c.

Hep c is very curable today so even if you ever contract hep c now or sometime in the future you can be treated and cured so nothing to worry about on that score.

About the HIV you could ask at your health clinic about recommended testing windows post exposure and go from there.

Just to add neither condition HIV or hep c are medical emergencies. For many today HIV has become a life long chronic medical condition. And hep c is now for most entirably curable
