3D Printers making new Livers
« on: November 10, 2014, 09:41:07 am »
Does anybody here watch The Tonight Show? Last week Jimmy Fallon mentioned there was an advance in 3D printing that could lead to a new liver. I've been googling by can't find anything recent. I did find this piece on CNN from April.

The next frontier in 3-D printing: Human organs

Anybody see anything more recent? Just wondering how close this might be to becoming reality.

I asked my IDS about this last visit and it's in the early stages of development. This is the hospital where I am under care.
