Will you please let us know how you feel in the next couple weeks coming off of the drug? There are so few finished with treatment from Harvoni and I would really love to see if there are any side effects popping up post tx.

Fantastic, Mikee!  Looking forward to getting updates on how you're feeling as the days progress toward your lab work and sending positive thoughts and prayers that you'll be posting SVR12 before we know it!

Lucinda, now I'll be singing "last pill" all the way to the 25th of this month, since I now have that song in my head too!  ....Islandgirl 8)

Hi tweesa

Welcome to the forum.

A lot depends on what treatment you were on and for how long and most important how much damage your liver already had before you started treating.

Everyone has their own experience with treatment and post treatment. Many don't experience much in the way of sides on treatment although not all. Some may even feel better with more energy while treating.

So just as everyone has a different experience while on treatment, everyone will have a different post treatment experience as well.

I hope you feel better sooner than later and congratulations on completing treatment and hopefully eradicating hep c.

Good luck

Thanks everyone!

Talk about confusion though, TODAY is the real last day.  I started on Dec 3, received a total of 3 bottles of 28 pills, and that totals 28 x 3 =  84.  Either there was an extra pill in a bottle, which I really don't think is the case, or I somehow missed a day, which I really also don't think could have happened.  Regardless, the last pill is at 6 PM when my phone alarm goes off this evening!  Hard to believe I'm really here.  Congrats to Katie and Nicole too!  As Nicole said, "Cheers to our success and radiant health!

Wow, I am not bouncing back like I hoped I would. Feeling very lethargic and not myself today. Slowly starting all my supplements and vitamins back up. Acupuncture tomorrow. But today I feel like staying in bed.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is it my body detoxing from Harvoni I wonder? I was a bit anemic on the last 8 week bt I did.

Hi everyone,
Nicole, got my fingers crossed and am anxiously waiting to hear back on your blood work results!  Sending tons of positive energy :)

Like you, I'm feeling not as good as I'd hoped by now - and a bit of depression crops up off and on when I really have nothing to be depressed about.  Of course, it's a rainy gloomy day here today, on the other hand it's 55 degrees and I don't have snow... conversations with myself to remind me I have much to be thankful for.  I haven't written much as I don't want to spread my depression around ;D

My doc doesn't have my blood work scheduled until March 25 and an appointment with her to review on April 2 - I live in a small town and test results are done elsewhere for this type of testing.  Final tests will be in September.  I'm also having some additional tests run to see why or if I have "Petechiae or ecchymoses" since I've started getting little dots of blood under the skin on left forearm and the slightest scrape can break the skin.  Sorry I'm not being as positive as I'd like to be, I'll working on that 8)  Best wishes and hugs,  ...Islandgirl

Hang in there Islandgirl! It's probably this waiting game that's making us a little down. We've done our job and now everything is out of our control. But as it stands now we have a 95% chance of this working and that's so much better than the 40% chance I had while on interferon eight years ago.

Hope the gloom lifts soon for you. I keep reminding myself "right now, I'm ok" and really anything else is just stuff in my head. But easier said than done.
Genotype 1a

Hi everyone
Hope today brings us to feel better. It is gloomy here as well, waiting for a storm. It is 55 also so no complaints. It is amazing how time is flying. I go in 2weeks for my 12week post test. I think we will beat.this disease, but unfortunately have to deal with.the.fallout of damage done. We are tough though, and we will push.thru like. the warriors we are. Hope you feel better islandgirl 8), you are always so positive, i'm sorry you're having a not so great one. Blessings. Sunrise

Good Luck!!! Please keep us posted. I started  treatment the first day of April. I'm 15 days in not feeling bad. I return to see Dr today. Hope all tests come out great on your end. I do have a question for you. How often did you change out toothbrushes during your treatment? Praying for you and all of us who have had to deal with this nasty crud.
